Financial Solutions for Students of Amman Arab University

Social responsibility occupies a theoretical and practical space at Amman Arab University. In the theoretical framework, the University added a specialized office for social responsibility to its organizational structure, followed by creating its vision, mission, strategic objectives and organizational structure.

In the practical framework, the annual operational plan of the office has been prepared since its establishment in 2018, working on two axes, the first is for University students, its internal environment and the second is the community                     

In this regard, by a decision of the University's Board of Trustees, a social responsibility fund has been established in accordance with an instruction system that sets standards and conditions. From 2018 to the end of 2022, 302 students will study on the expense of the fund full scholarships, and 550 of students a quarterly partial grants, worth (1,607,603) dollars _ one million, one hundred and one thousand and six thousand and three dollars).

After the Corona crisis and its repercussions, the University opened a window of financial solutions for graduate students who have completed graduation requirements and are subject to vilifications and regulars who face emergency circumstances. It enables the student to obtain a good loan repaid in easy installments and benefit from this window (152) students at a value of (372,367) dollars - three hundred and seven

The total number of students benefiting from the financial solutions (1004) - one thousand and four thousand students - for a total amount of (1,979,970) dollars _ one million nine hundred and seventy-nine thousand and seventy dollars

It should also be noted that Amman Arab University, as part of its responsibilities in community service, annually offers 400 partial grants with discounts of up to 90% targeting outstanding high school students with rates exceeding 80% in the high school certificate exam to contribute to promoting and encouraging excellence and entrepreneurship in the local community. The University takes a similar approach in offering scholarships of up to 90% for master's study to its bachelor's students and holders of advanced ranks in their payments during the bachelor's stage
