Amman Arab University Participates in the Seventh Arab Housing Conference in Cairo
 
Amman – Coping with Amman Arab University's endeavor to actively participate at the local and international level, and at the invitation of the League of Arab States and the Ministry of Housing, the University participated in the Seventh Arab Housing Conference for the year 2022 entitled "Towards Smart Sustainable Cities that Achieve Quality of Life" in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which was held under the auspices of

President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and it was inaugurated by Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities on his behalf, on the sidelines of the 39th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Construction, during the period from 18-20 December 2022, as well as the exhibition accompanying the conference, in the presence of Ambassador Ahmed Aboul Gheit  , Secretary General of the League of Arab States, and a number of Arab ministers of housing, and senior officials, where the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University participated in a scientific paper presented by Eng. Heba Abu Hamid from the Department of Architecture, entitled "The Extent of Application of Amman Arab University as a Smart University."

It is noteworthy that the Seventh Arab Housing Conference comes within the framework of strengthening the commitments of all countries of the Arab world towards achieving the goals of sustainable development.  Economic, social and environmental that the world is witnessing now, by focusing on the mechanisms of planning smart and sustainable cities that achieve the highest rates of development and meet the needs of demand for adequate housing and improve the quality of life for all segments of society.
