President of Amman Arab University Accomplishes a Program in Public Administration from Harvard University
President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, returned to Amman Arab University from the United States of America after fulfilling a program in public administration from the esteemed Harvard University-USA, which is ranked first among universities in the world.
It is noteworthy that the Harvard Business School was based on this intensive program, which in turn is considered the best in the world, as well-known business leaders and executives graduate from it. This program is subject to high quality requirements and great competition and is implemented with a unique methodology that relies mainly on the method of studying real cases from different countries of the world that deals with a presentation of aspects of competition, success, challenges and failure at the level of different organizations as well as countries, which are prepared by professors, where those involved in the program play a key role in its discussion and analysis.
In addition, the participants undergo, at the beginning of the program, an advanced detailed scientific analysis of their personalities and leadership styles to identify areas of strength and challenges in preparation for dealing with them within small teams or on a personal level by specialized trainers. It is noteworthy that Prof. Al-Widyan holds a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in the United States of America, and has held several administrative positions, including: Dean of Scientific Research at the University of Science and Technology in Jordan, and Director of the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance at the University of Science and Technology as well, in addition to membership in the boards of trustees in a number of Jordanian universities and colleges. Moreover, Prof. widyan is a major founder of the Faculty of Engineering at King Faisal University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and he currently occupies the position of President of Amman Arab University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Prof.widyan has many internationally published research papers, in addition to numerous research grants, and has won many local and international awards.
