Amman Arab University and the Jordanian Higher European Commission via the “Zoom” application

Amman - Amman - Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the Jordanian European Higher Commission, organized a remote dialogue meeting via the (Zoom) application to open up prospects for cooperation to start the Arabic language program for non-native speakers, in the presence of Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh, vice –president of Academic Affairs , Director of the Language and Translation Center, Dr. Lina Al-Jarrah, a faculty member at the College of Arts and Sciences, and Dr. Malik Al-Qassas representing the Jordanian European Higher Commission.

Professor. Al-Tarawneh indicated the importance of strengthening cooperation between Amman Arab University and the Higher Jordanian European Commission in implementing the Arabic Language Programs for Speakers of Other Languages for the children of Jordanian communities in Europe according to a clear organized plan, and to provide learners with the necessary competencies that enable them in the Arabic language, and the skills related to the Arabic language and its fields.

Dr. Al-Qassas explained that the Commission is working on sincere excellence in serving Jordanian citizens in Europe and to be a unique model that shows the bright face of the people of Jordan in Europe, and that the importance of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers is reflected in the fact that it is the language of the Noble Qur’an and the Master of the Messengers, and it is one of the oldest and most ancient languages, despite  There has been a plurality of languages throughout history, but this language has preserved its spread and its ancientness, and that in recent times, many members of the Jordanian communities have begun to express a desire to learn the Arabic language.
