"Amman Arab University" Celebrates the Birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Anniversary of the Battle of Karama and Mother's Day
 
  Amman Arab University organized a celebration of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s 60th birthday, the battle of eternal Al-Karama, and Mother’s Day, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Omar Mashhour Al-Jazi, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, with the presence of Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of the University, and Mr. Abdul Rahim Al-Zawahra, Director General of the All Jordan Youth Authority and a large number of University employees and students and a number of guests.


 Al-Jazi said during his speech that” today we stand proud of His Majesty’s achievements at the internal and external levels, striving to preserve the leadership and positive role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the footsteps of its first Hashemite forefathers”, and he raised to His Majesty the highest verses of congratulations and blessings on his sixtieth birthday.  And in his speech about Mother’s Day, he would pay tribute to all mothers, the gift of God Almighty to us, a symbol of tenderness, giving and loyalty.  And a special greeting to every Jordanian mother who endured hardship and misery to take care of us and instill in us the love of dignity, manhood, honor, loyalty, love of the homeland and sacrifice for it and defend it on the battlefields.


 Prof. Al-Widyan, President of the University, said in his speech: On the birthday of our beloved King, we thank God that our beloved, a leader of the noble Hashemite dynasty, vowed on his birthday the late King Al-Hussein bin Talal - may God rest his soul - to serve his country and his nation and entrusted him with the mandate to rule after him, so the enhanced king was the best successor to the best predecessor
