Amman Arab University Participates in the Evaluation Meeting of the Achievements of the Center of Excellence in Librarian Services
 
 Amman- Amman Arab University participated in the evaluation meeting of the heads of member universities of the Center of Excellence in Librarian Services for Private Jordanian Universities, located at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, to evaluate the center’s achievements a year after its establishment, review its plans and prospects for the next stage, provide future recommendations and launch its website.
 
 President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, delegated Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mrs. Wafaa Al-Sabeeh, Director of the Library Department, to participate in the meeting, which was attended by the President of the for Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, Prof. Dhafer Al-Sarayrah.
 
 In her discussion, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ikhlas Al-Tarawneh, recommended that the center’s services should be added to the task of developing periodicals and journals of member universities and helping them to enter Scopus databases, and the need to address the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to consider the universities’ participation and support for the Center within the scientific research allocations allocated in the scientific research budgets in  Universities.
 It is noteworthy that the founding universities of the center are: Amman Arab University, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Philadelphia University, Al-Isra University, Irbid National University, Middle East University, Aqaba University of Technology, International Islamic Sciences University, Petra University, and Applied Sciences Private University  Zarqa University, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation, Luminus Technical University College, Jadara University.
 The center, which has a membership of 15 private universities, aims to share knowledge, meet the challenges of the world of libraries and information centers, and provide supportive environments for the movement of scientific research, digital transformation, and e-learning.
