Amman Arab University Ranks First Among Private Universities and Third in Jordan in Webometrics Ranking
For the second time, Amman Arab University has secured the top position among private universities and the third among all Jordanian universities in the Webometrics ranking.
In this regard, President Dr. Mohammed Al-Wadyan emphasized that this achievement reflects the university's esteemed status as a distinguished educational and research institution locally and globally. It highlights the university's commitment to excellence in academic and research standards as part of its strategic plan.
Dr. Al-Wadyan expressed gratitude to all university staff, particularly the Information and Communications Technology Center and the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, noting that this success is a testament to their hard work.
The Webometrics ranking is a global assessment issued by a research center in Spain, focusing on the quality of education, academic reputation, and research output, aiming to enhance the academic presence of universities online and support open access initiatives for scholarly content.
