A Workshop on Cybersecurity and Cyber Crimes
Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics organized two workshops focused on cybersecurity and cyber crimes for high school students and teachers in Marka district. Dr. Kamal Alyan discussed current cyber threats and protective measures, emphasizing the need for increased awareness. Dr. Walaa Al-Omari provided insights into investigating cyber crimes, covering legal standards and legislation in Jordan.
The workshops concluded with school principals presenting certificates of appreciation to the university representatives, highlighting the positive impact of the sessions. Dr. Husam Al-Hamd emphasized that faculty participation in such initiatives reinforces the college's commitment to knowledge dissemination and aligns with the university's strategy for community engagement and development.
