Academic Promotions at Amman Arab University
AMMAN – The Council of Deans of Amman Arab University decided to promote Dr. May Fahil Abdul Qadir Al-Shaikhli to (Associate Professor) in (Translation) in English from the College of Arts and Sciences, and to promote Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Saleh Khasawneh to (Associate Professor) in Computer Science / Security and Networks in the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Al-Shaikhli holds a bachelor's and master's degree in translation from the University of Mustansiriya and Ph.D in the same major from the University of Mosul in Iraq in 2005.
Dr. Al-Shaikhli worked as a translator in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Minister's Office in Iraq. She is also a member of many committees and has a lot of scientific research published globally. She was the head of the Department of English Language and Translation at Amman Arab University, noting that she has worked in many Jordanian universities. She is now the Director of the English Language and Translation Center and training and Consultation Center.
Dr. Al-Khasawneh holds a doctorate from the University of Technology of Malaysia (UTM) in 2017 in computer science / security and networks, and worked as head of several departments at the college for three years and has many research classified and indexed in the most prestigious international journals.
