Announcement for Students from the Studies and Consultations Center

The Studies and Consultations Center announces the start of registration for interested students to apply to go to Canada at St. Clare College to study a diploma in the following:

  • International Business Administration
  • Computer Engineering and Networks

Here are some following questions that you might have:

  1. How long is the course?  It is a 2 year program with one year in Jordan and one in Canada.
  2. What are the requirements for admission? To pass the Secondary Stage Examination (Tawjihi) and to pass the English Test.
  3. How to get a visa? After finishing the year at AAU, the student will get an official admission to the Faculty in Canada, and we will facilitate the visa for the student after they fulfill requirements at the Canadian Embassy, of which we will inform the student about beforehand.
  4. In case the student has not been given the visa:  whatever the reason, in case the student has not been given the visa, the student will get a training diploma for one year given by St. Clare College.
  5. In reference to pursuing further university studies:  after getting the diploma degree, the student may apply to pursue the university level easily in an American, Canadian or any other university in the world.
  6. Is St. Clare College accredited in Jordan, and is the certificate equal to one in Jordan? The College is accredited and recognized in Jordan, and the equivalency can be done at the Ministry of Higher Education.
  7. What are the fees of the program? The fees vary, depending on the specialization. However, the fees in Jordan are 900 JD per semester but in Canada, the fees range from 2500 to 3000 JD per semester.
  8. Are there any English language requirements that are conditional for joining this program? Yes, it is a condition for being accepted in the program, and we will offer English courses in Jordan to develop their skills before traveling. In case the students cannot pass the exam, he will be obliged to take one or two semesters of English at St. Clare College before joining the program there.
  9. Can the student be allowed to work in Canada? Yes, he can after finishing the first semester, and if he gets the permission to work legally. Then, he can work 20 hours per week during study time and 40 hours per week during vacation.
  10. Does the College provide accommodation for students? Yes, they do. There is accommodation for the College that will be paid by the student. The student can book the accommodation before traveling.
  11. Can the student get legal permission to work in Canada after finishing the diploma program? Yes, he can. However, after graduating and receiving the certificate. He can then apply for permanent residency legally.
