Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics Hosts AI Competition Workshop
Faculty of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University (AAU) recently held a workshop introducing Simera AI Competition 2024-2025. Led by Mr. Aws Shaqir, Director of Simera’s Jordan branch, the session provided an overview of the competition’s framework, registration process, and required skills, emphasizing its role in fostering innovation and preparing students for real-world challenges in artificial intelligence.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Ajarmeh, a faculty member and the competition’s supervisor, emphasized the importance of partnerships like this in providing students with practical experience and enhancing their global competitiveness. Dean Dr. Husam Al-Hamad reiterated the faculty’s commitment to combining academic knowledge with hands-on expertise, ensuring graduates are ready for the demands of the modern job market.
