Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University Hosts a Workshop on Solar Energy Projects
Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University organized a workshop on "On-grid Solar PV Projects" in partnership with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Engineer Samer Zawaideh, Head of Activities for the AEE Amman Branch, has given the presentation. In addition to reviewing the newest technology in grid-connected solar projects with an emphasis on sustainability and efficiency, the workshop highlighted Jordan's objective to produce 30% of its electricity from renewable energy sources.
Along with members of the AEE student chapter and engineering students, the workshop was attended by Dr. Muhammad Ismail, Dr. Akram Mousa, the Head of Renewable Energy Engineering, and Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. The session strengthened students' enthusiasm to support Jordan's energy goals, which also generated a lot of interest in renewable energy.
"This workshop is part of a series aimed at strengthening students' connections with industry professionals," Engineer Zawaideh said, highlighting his support for the student branch's efforts to improve practical expertise in renewable energy.
