Engineering Students from Participate in a Conference on Digitizing the Energy Sector in Jordan
The College of Engineering, specifically the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering at Amman Arab University , participated in the conference titled "Digitalization of the Energy Sector in Jordan," held under the theme "Empowering the Future: Digitalization of the Energy Sector in Jordan," in celebration of World Youth Day 2024.
The conference was organized by the Energy Sector Support Program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and was attended by a number of students.
The speakers addressed the role of youth in the digitalization of the energy sector and emphasized the importance of their involvement in developing innovative and sustainable solutions. Additionally, entrepreneurs shared inspiring success stories within this domain. Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, the Dean of the College, highlighted the significance of this participation as an opportunity to showcase contemporary scientific expertise, noting that the university hosts the student chapter of the American Society of Energy Engineers.
