Outstanding Research Projects by Pharmacy Students at Amman Arab University
The College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University recently held an academic day where students showcased research projects from their Research Project course. Guided by Dr. Nuseibah Al Qtaish, the event aimed to strengthen students’ research skills and inspire innovation, preparing them for hands-on scientific work.
Students presented a wide range of modern topics, from using artificial intelligence in gene therapy to improve treatment precision to exploring Nano-carriers that enhance drug delivery for genetic disorders. Other projects examined CRISPR technology’s potential in gene editing, innovative combination therapies, new cancer biomarkers, and even the role of chemical peels in skincare.
Dr. Al Qtaish expressed pride in the students’ work, highlighting their critical thinking and enthusiasm. She noted that events like these help students develop research and presentation skills, preparing them for future challenges. Students, in turn, valued the opportunity, embracing the chance to dive deeper into real-world research and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
