Unique Workshops and Training Programs at AAU for Faculty Members
Academic Development and Quality Assurance center /Department of Academic Development at AAU concluded workshops and training programs directed to teaching staff members. These activities were basically attributed to the Centre’s endeavor to contribute vividly to develop and elevate teaching staff members’ performance level for academic year 2024-2025. Offered over three weeks by specialists from both inside and outside AAU, (26) workshops targeted as a whole the following academic categories: (13) workshops devoted to all teaching staff members, (3) workshops to Deans, Acting Deans and Heads of Departments, and (10) workshops to new teaching staff members.
Workshops and academic programs covered the topics pivoting on the following issues: the nationally-based frame of qualifications, quality assurance of academic programs, learning outputs, and AAU instructions and systems. In addition, some workshops were held to touch on E-learning and other topics in favor of faculties, academic departments, the scientific research, and the international publication and classification.
It is worth-noting that as part of implementing Academic Development’s annual plan, Department of Academic Development at AUU holds every semester several workshops and academic programs in conformity with AAU strategic plan and with major advances made at local and global levels including all sectors.
