Building Evaluation and Inspection Workshop at “Amman Arab University”
Under the patronage of Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University, the college, represented by the “Civil Engineering” Department, held a workshop for the department’s students entitled “Evaluation and Inspection of Buildings,” presented by: Engineer Thamer Al-Momani, Engineer Farah Awad, and Engineer Afnan Al-Dawoud, and in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Sahwil, Head of Civil Engineering, members of the academic and administrative staff, and students of the college, which included a comprehensive explanation of the principles used in inspecting and evaluating buildings, in addition to the devices used during the inspection operations, where the students were given the opportunity to conduct some of these tests practically through the devices used for inspecting and evaluating buildings.
It is noteworthy that this workshop comes within the plan of the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University to work on developing students’ skills and scientific and practical abilities and informing them of the requirements of the labor market in a way that ensures the competence of graduates from the College of Engineering.
