Amman Arab University Participates in the Second International Conference: Business and the Digital Economy

Amman Arab University participated in the work of the Second International Conference and Forum on: Business and Digital Economy (The 2nd International Conference and Forum on: Business and Digital Economy 2024 (IBDE)), which was organized by the Faculty of Business at the University of Jordan during the period from May 21 to 23, 2024.

Amman Arab University was represented by faculty members from the College of Business in the conference proceedings, namely: Dr. Alaa Al-Moumani, Assistant Professor in the Management Information Systems Department, Dr. Suhaib Al-Khazaleh, Assistant Professor in the Finance Department, Dr. Moaz Al-Buhairat, Assistant Professor in the Business Administration Department, and Dr. Muhammad Tawalbeh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance and Business Management.

Dr. Al-Momani participated in two research papers entitled:

1- Analyzing the Current Status, Hotspots, and Future Trends of Big Data in Business Research: Using the WoS and Scopus Database.

2- Analyzing the Current Status, Hotspots, and Future Trends of Agency Theory: Using the WoS and Scopus Databases.

Dr. Al-Khazaleh, Dr. Al-Buhaira, and Dr. Muhammad Tawalbeh also participated in a research paper entitled:

The Impact of Audit Committee Characteristics on Financial Firm Performance of Non-Bank Financial Institutions in Jordan: The Moderating Role of Investment Opportunities Set.

In this regard, the faculty members from Amman Arab University participating in the conference expressed their thanks to the University, represented by the dean of the college and the heads of the relevant departments, for the support provided to them in attending such an event, which included an elite group of academics and specialists in the professional and academic fields, as Amman Arab University’s participation in such Events. based on its vision to support, promote and participate in local and international conferences among faculty members.
