Advanced Training Workshop at Amman Arab University on Analyzing and Financial Statements
Deanship of Student Affairs/Office of Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up, in cooperation with the College of Business at Amman Arab University, organized a training workshop entitled “Analysis and Discussion of Financial Statements,” directed at the University’s students at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, graduates, and the local community. It was presented by Dr. Ziyad Al-Matarneh, a faculty member at the College of Business. The workshop received a clear interaction from the trainee students, as the implementation of this workshop came as one of the training courses and workshops implemented by the office in cooperation with academic colleges within the student’s skills portfolio.
It is noteworthy that the workshop aimed to introduce the student to the importance of financial analysis, its purposes and tools, and to introduce students to how to conduct financial analysis and analyze financial statements. The workshop also indicated when the student will be able to interpret the results of financial analysis by developing analytical skills on the financial statements on which the analysis is performed.
