College of Business at Amman Arab University Implements a Comprehensive Training Course on Business Plans for the Youth of Balqa Governorate
Coping with the vision of Amman Arab University in creating an environment characterized by social responsibility, and enhancing the interactive relationship between the University and the local community, College of Business at Amman Arab University seeks to work on consolidating the concepts of management Modern businesses that will build the potential of young people and raise their efficiency to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market. Therefore, College of Business at Amman Arab University held a training course for 36 young people from Balqa Governorate, "Business Plan", in cooperation with the Emaar Salt Foundation and the "Balqa through the Eyes of its Youth" initiative, which was presented by Dr. Motee Al-Shibli and Dr. Ghaith Al-Sheikh from the Faculty of Business at Amman Arab University.
In this regard, the Dean of the College of Business at the University, Professor. Hassan Al-Zoubi, confirmed that such scientific activities consolidate the applied concept and practical aspects among young people through continuous study of the needs of the labor market and raising the potential and skills of young people to suit these needs.
For his part, Dr. Al-Shibli stressed that this course and other future activities are among the objectives of the College of Business and the Department of Business Administration, as there is continuous communication with employers and young people in the areas adjacent to the university to know their needs in the labor market and reduce the gap between their knowledge and the actual need of business organizations, and that such these activities, which keep pace with developments in the labor market, will raise the efficiency of young people and put them at the forefront by increasing their skills and raising their actual performance.
In turn, Dr. Al-Sheikh pointed out that this course came as a basic requirement from employers, who in turn confirmed that young graduates lack the basic knowledge to develop business plans, and that all industrial, commercial, tourism and medical sectors need young people with a high ability to prepare business plans, each in their field.
It is noteworthy that the course covered several diverse topics, the most prominent of which were the definition of the business plan, the components of the business plan, and the business plan appendix, in addition to some practical examples.
