Training Workshop -Preparation for the TOEFL Exam at Amman Arab University
The Deanship of Student Affairs/Office of Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up, in cooperation with the College of Arts and Sciences at Amman Arab University, organized a training workshop entitled “Getting prepared for the TOEFL TEST,” directed at the University’s students at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, alumni, and the local community, which was presented by Dr. Raeda Amari, a faculty member at the College of Arts and Sciences.
The workshop received great interaction from the trainees through the provision of interactive examples that were presented to illustrate how to prepare to take the TOEFL exam. This workshop is regarded as one of the training courses and workshops implemented by the office in cooperation with academic colleges within the student skills portfolio, which aimed to introduce the student to the importance of the TOEFL test by measuring the student’s skills and abilities to understand spoken and written English, and to identify the suitability of his abilities and skills in the English language for the University level, and an explanation of the modern methods and means that can be used in preparation for passing this international test, through effective steps in preparing to achieve the highest possible scores in the TOEFL test.
