Workshop (Trading on the Virtual Stock Exchange) at Amman Arab University
Amman - As part of Amman Arab University’s policy of activating joint cooperation agreements with local community institutions and under the guidance of the University President, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, and in line with the joint cooperation agreement between Amman Arab University and the Amman Stock Exchange, the Finance Department at the College of Business hosted a specialized team from the Amman Stock Exchange consisting of Mr. Mohamed Shaniour, Director of the Operations Department, Ms. Nadia Mansour, Head of the Operations Department, in addition to Mr. Al-Muthanna Alidi from the Operations Department.
The hosting included holding a training workshop for faculty members from the Finance Department at the College of Business in cooperation with the Amman Stock Exchange on using the Trading Station Program (PAM) on the virtual stock exchange in the college, in order to qualify faculty members in the department to train students on trading, to link the theoretical aspect of the major, and to prepare and qualify the department’s students for the labor market. It is noteworthy that Amman Arab University recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Amman Stock Exchange for this purpose, as Amman Arab University is considered the first Jordanian university to train students of the Finance and Banking Department to apply trading on the virtual stock exchange in cooperation with the Amman Stock Exchange in order to link the theoretical side to the practical side.
