College of Engineering at Amman Arab University Cooperates with the Circassian Charitable Association
Under the directives of His Excellency the President of the University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, and in implementation of the Amman Arab University motto: Leadership, Excellence, and Community Service, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, and in the presence of faculty members in the Department of Architecture and students of the “Architectural Design 6” course, met in the Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University with Engineer Muhammad. Jallouqa and Professor Fereydoun Hartouka who are representatives of the Circassian Charitable Association. The meeting aimed to bring students closer to practical reality, and conveying the idea that their efforts in design courses are not hypothetical, but rather are an embodiment of the practical reality from more than one aspect, especially in terms of the architect’s communication with investors and owners and presenting investment proposals and ideas for their properties which are scientifically and practically convincing.
The Circassian Charitable Association expressed its desire to cooperate with Amman Arab University by offering the plot of land owned by them parallel to Mecca Street to the students of the Architectural Design 6 course under the supervision of Dr. Maan Abu Sheikha from the Department of Architecture, in order to obtain ideas for investment projects through which they can attract investors.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf thanked the representatives of the Circassian Charitable Society for their interest in the students of Amman Arab University and pointed out that community service and partnership with the private sector will greatly enrich the learning outcomes of our students.
