Replacement the B.A Major of Pharmacy at “Amman Arab University”
As part of Amman Arab University’s efforts to achieve its strategic objectives and aspirations to raise the quality of academic programs and in pursuit of excellence and leadership in pharmaceutical work at the College of Pharmacy at the University and with the exerted efforts of the College obtained the approval of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commissions for Higher Education Institutions in replacing the Bachelor of Pharmacy major at the University within the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework.
On this occasion, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of the University, said that this achievement is the result of the distinguished efforts of the College of Pharmacy, including members of the academic and administrative staff. He added that Amman Arab University is constantly seeking advancement and excellence in all academic, research and community service fields, indicating that this achievement is consistent with the University’s vision and the strategic plans for successive development. Prof. Al-Widyan expressed his appreciation for such an outstanding achievement, directing all colleges to cope with the Jordanian National Qualifications Framework.
Prof. Abu Huwaij pointed out that the National Qualifications Framework includes ten levels, where the focus at each level is on specific skills, knowledge, and competencies that guarantee the quality of the educational outcomes. This framework allows for the compatibility of learning outcomes in educational institutions, with an explicit definition of the levels of qualifications and learning outcomes for the educational programs that are offered at that level.
