A Special Career Day for Students at Amman Arab University in Cooperation with Amazon
The international company (Amazon) launched from Amman Arab University an initiative (Special Career Day) directed exclusively to alumni students from Amman Arab University, under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the university, Dr. Wafa Al-Eid, and under the direct supervision of Professor Tariq Al-Wreikat, teacher of the (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) course in cooperation with the Head of the Department of Basic Sciences (Humanities and Scientific), Dr. Muhammad Al-Aroud.
The event, which was held in the University’s Centenary Amphitheater, aims to create job opportunities for graduate students from Amman Arab University, and reduce the burden of unemployment among graduates across the Kingdom. The head of the Human Resources Department at Amazon, Ms. Abeer Matar, reviewed the jobs and tasks of the company and the students were introduced. On its leadership principles, in addition to helping students at the university apply for available vacancies with opportunities for training and providing them with practical experiences.
During the opening of the event, Mr.Tariq Al-Wreikat, teacher of the Leadership and Innovation course at Amman Arab University, pointed out the great interest that the University attaches to such activities that open doors for students to face the future with resolve, determination and ambition, pointing out that this event is in line with the university’s commitment to supporting its graduates from various backgrounds majors to enable them to work in the largest companies in the world by providing them with training and qualifications that meet the needs of the private and public sectors with basic skills and experience.
