College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at "Amman Arab University" Implements a Specialized Training Course in Karak Province
Within the series of community activities of the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, Faculty member Dr. Hussein Tarawneh, implemented a specialized training course entitled: (Diagnostic and counseling tests for children and adults and their clinical implications) in the Directorate of Education in Karak Governorate, in cooperation with the Jordanian Society of Psychology and in the presence of the Director of the Directorate of Education in Karak Governorate, Mr. Hussein Al-Tarawneh, as a continuation of the objectives of the educational guidance plan and community partnership with educational institutions in the country.
During the 12-hour training course, which targeted psychological counselors in Karak Governorate, practical and theoretical trainings were provided to the counselors, which included the following themes: training on personal psychological scales for children, training on personal psychological scales for adults, how to write personal psychological reports for each scale, and how to study status and evaluation.
In turn, Mr. Tarawneh stressed that the outputs of this course will have positive repercussions on the future work of the counselors, stressing the importance of investing the skills of the counselors who have been trained and transferring its impact in their schools.
At the end of the course, everyone praised the role of Amman Arab University for its continuous and effective support in community service. The Director of Education handed certificates to the participants.
