Department of Information Technology at "Amman Arab university" Meets students of cybersecurity
Head of the Information Technology Department at the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University, Dr. Rami Sahwil, met with the new students in the cybersecurity major in the first semester 2022/2023, in the presence of the faculty members of the department.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the department welcomed the new students and congratulated them for choosing to enroll in a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity at Amman Arab University. In addition to signing agreements with many communications and information technology companies, providing suitable places for them to complete practical training in an optimal manner, and encouraged them to join the IT Club, which was established more than 3 years ago and is currently managed by the students themselves under the supervision of a number of faculty members, which it carries out many important activities and events.
Dr. Sahwil also explained the teaching mechanism adopted in the college, which focuses on teaching the practical side in most courses with the aim of enhancing the abilities and skills of students and their competition to get the jobs they deserve locally and regionally. He also encouraged them to start their academic life by participating in activities, competitions and free training workshops offered by the college and university by enhancing their personal and professional skills, stressing that the College will support the participation of students who qualify for local, regional and international competitions and any competitions that achieve benefit and benefit for students. Stressing that the doors of all faculty members in the college and the department will be open to them at any time.
At the end of the meeting, the department head and faculty members answered the students' inquiries and listened to their suggestions and observations.
