Discussing Ways of Cooperation between "Amman Arab University" and the Business Development Center (BDC)
President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, met in his office on Sunday 30/01/2022 Mr. Ghaleb Hegazy, Director General of the BDC Business Development Center, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. May Al-Shaikhli, Director of the Consultation and Training Center, and Mr. Muhammad Bani Yassin from the Deanship of Student Affairs.
During the meeting, Prof. Al-Widyan reviewed the establishment of Amman Arab University and its permanent role in achieving excellence, promoting the spirit of leadership and creativity, providing quality education and original scientific research, in addition to serving the community. He stressed that the University took it upon itself to supply the labor market with qualified graduates equipped with knowledge and training, professional in their field, and can meet the requirements of the labor market. Moreover, the University pays great attention to the Consultation and Training Center and the King Abdullah Fund for Development in qualifying students through training courses, as the University has made a training portfolio for its students, stressing the University’s keenness to cooperate with various parties’ institutions, and enhancing aspects of cooperation to improve education and looking for opportunities for students.
In turn, Mr. Ghaleb Hijazi affirmed his great appreciation for the University for its role and for the plans and programs established to train and qualify students, and that the Business Development Center is honored to cooperate with Amman Arab University. Hijazi said that the Business Development Center is a Jordanian non-profit center that contributes to economic development through the design and implementation of development programs that aim to create job opportunities for Jordanians, spread the spirit of
leadership, and increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies. The center also manages many economic development projects. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Ghaleb Hegazy thanked the University, represented by its president, for this fruitful meeting.
