Instructional Design Department Duties
The Instructional Design Department aims to prepare, build, formulate, produce, and publish E-learning resources to enable students to learn through creative and collaborative methods in e-learning environment, In addition to utilizing technologies and tools such as augmented reality and virtual reality, massive open online courses and open educational resources to create and provide e-learning content on various education platforms for the students through specialized tools and programs like H5P.
1- Managing and monitoring the augmented and virtual reality systems used in the university.
2- Continually improving by utilizing the most recent augmented and virtual reality technologies that are relevant to raising the standard of university education.
3- Developing faculty member’s experiences by providing training courses and specialized workshops on augmented and virtual reality techniques.
4- Providing the required technical Support for utilizing these technologies.
5- Enhancing student’s skills in using augmented and virtual reality technologies.
6- Creating and providing educational and instructional videos for faculty members and students.
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Open Educational Resources Division Duties
1- Managing and monitoring the massive open online courses and open educational resources.
2- Managing and monitoring the design and implementation of massive open online courses and open educational resources.
3- Constantly developing open courses resources.
4- Developing faculty members skills by conducting specialized training courses and workshops on the mechanism of creating and using open educational resources
5- Enhance student’s skills and guide them towards the best open educational resources.
6- Creating and providing educational and instructional videos for faculty members and students.
7- Providing the necessary technical support for using these resources and systems.
