Islamic Science is regarded as a rare major, especially among males. Offering Islamic Science program is very significant in raising peoples' awareness to understand Islamic creed. As sent down by Allah, Islamic Share'a aims at protecting Muslims from following extremists and wicked people and at the same time relying only on the original source.​ ​

Vision

Distinction in fostering moderate version of Islamic creed and Shariah.

Mission

Providing distinguished graduates equipped with moderate understanding of Islamic creed and Sharia and to spread the message of Islam elsewhere.

Objectives

  1. To foster moderate Islamic creed and Sharia among students.
  2. To highlight educational dimensions of Islamic creed and Sharia.
  3. To improve students skills in understanding Islamic provisions according to the principles of jurisprudence.
  4. To develop students scientific and positive views of Islamic creed and Sharia.
  5. To nurture students’ knowledge and research skills by using reliable references Islamic sources.
  6. To be distinguished in presenting Islamic Beliefs.

Educational Outcomes of B.A in Shariah

The expected outcomes of this program are preparing graduates competent in:

1.    Reciting the Holy Quran in accordance with the rules of Quranic recitation.
2.    Identifying the Holy Quran and its sciences and the methods of considered exegetists.
3.    Providing an evidence of the authenticity of holy Sunnah and its resources.
4.    Identifying the sciences of Hadith and its origins by adopting the correct prophetic Hadiths.
5.    Identifying the Islamic creed and its moderate characteristics and its impact on the individual and society.
6.    Deducing the legislative rules from their original sources.
7.    Identifying the origins of Islamic jurisprudence and giving solutions for contemporary jurisprudence.
