Amman Arab University Enhances Practical Aspects for Civil Engineering Students
Civil Engineering Department at Amman Arab University hosted Engineer Nevin Alsheikh from an Engineering Company. Engineer Nevin delivered a comprehensive presentation on the types of soil and how to classify them in real-world construction projects. She highlighted soil-related issues such as dissolving of soil and presented various project examples that discussed different types of soil problems, their solutions, and methods to mitigate them.
It is worth noting that such lectures are part of a series of activities organized by the Civil Engineering Department aimed at hosting experts and external lecturers from various specializations to enhance students’ knowledge and connect them with the requirements of the local labor market. The students demonstrated significant engagement with the examples presented, exchanging questions and participating in fruitful discussions with Engineer Nevin.
