Under Royal Patronage, Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in Al-Ahli Club Bazaar, Showcasing New Academic Specializations Aligned with Labor Market Needs
Reflecting its commitment to strengthening community partnerships and engaging with national institutions, Amman Arab University, represented by its Marketing Department under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Nassar, Director of the Department, participated in the Al-Ahli Club Bazaar. The event was inaugurated by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah and was held at the club's premises from August 27 to 31, 2025.
The university was represented by Batoul Al-Shwaitar, Rawan Al-Khalili, and Marah Al-Khawaldeh, along with a number of outstanding students: Youssef Wael, Omar Abu Jeish, Mohammed Abu Amsha, Iman Nasser, Sara Al-Zaytawi, Khawla Al-Azza, Zaid Mamoun, and Ala’a Sarhan.
This participation is part of Amman Arab University’s strategy to foster direct communication with high school students and their parents, providing a comprehensive overview of its academic specializations, scholarship opportunities, and student services. This aims to empower students in making informed university choices that align with their aspirations and the evolving job market.
During the event, the university’s team highlighted several new academic specializations recently introduced in response to local and global labor market shifts. These programs combine quality education with promising career opportunities. Below is a brief overview of these specializations and their career prospects:
• Logistics and Supply Chain Management: The backbone of global trade, efficiently managing the flow of goods and services. This sector is rapidly growing with the expansion of e-commerce and ports in the Middle East. Career opportunities include: transportation companies (land, sea, air), logistics services, import/export, warehouse management, and major factories.
• Aviation Management: Combines management and operations in the aviation sector, one of the fastest-growing industries globally, particularly with the expansion of travel and airports in the region. Career opportunities include airlines, air cargo companies, airports, regulatory bodies, and aviation safety and security.
• Bioinformatics: An innovative field merging artificial intelligence and medicine to analyze genetic and medical data, contributing to the development of personalized drugs and treatments. Career opportunities include pharmaceutical and biotech companies, hospitals, laboratories, and medical decision support systems development.
• Early Childhood Education: Focuses on child development during their most critical years, forming the foundation of human life. Demand is growing locally and globally with the expansion of early education programs. Career opportunities include kindergartens, child development centers, schools, family associations, and special needs centers.
• Medical Laboratory Sciences: The first line of defense in healthcare, relying on laboratory analyses for accurate disease diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Career opportunities include hospital and healthcare center laboratories, public health, and laboratory equipment companies. Dr. Nassar emphasized that this participation reflects the university’s commitment to its educational and community mission, stating: "The university believes that students are the leaders of the future, and from this perspective, it strives to provide them with all the information and guidance necessary to enhance their academic and professional readiness." He added: "The university has recently achieved significant milestones in global rankings, most notably securing first place among all private universities in both the Scimago and Unirank classifications, and third place in three additional international rankings: THE Arab Region, Webometrics, and THE Impact Rankings related to sustainable development goals. This reaffirms its academic standing and boosts students’ confidence in their university choices."
