
Amman Arab University (AAU) Holds Specialized Training Course for Faculty Members in the College of Engineering
As part of its commitment to developing the capabilities of its academic staff and enhancing their skills in line with global advancements, Amman Arab University organized a training course titled "PROKON Getting Started" for faculty members in the Department of Civil Engineering. The course was conducted under the directives of Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of the University, and with the follow-up of Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the College of Engineering.
The training was delivered remotely by the international company PROKON, with Engineer Alistair Redden providing instruction to the participants. At the conclusion of the course, certified certificates from the company were awarded to all participating faculty members.
In this context, the College of Engineering, in coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs, is preparing to soon announce the launch of an advanced course titled "Structural Design Using PROKON Software" during the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
This initiative underscores Amman Arab University’s commitment to equipping its faculty members with the necessary digital and cognitive skills, enhancing their role in the academic process, and contributing to the preparation of a qualified teaching staff capable of keeping pace with local and international developments.
