An Introductory Session on the Career Accelerator Program at Amman Arab University (AAU)
In line with its commitment to preparing students for the job market, Amman Arab University hosted an introductory session for the Career Accelerator Program, presented by the INJAZ Foundation in cooperation with the Faculty of Information Technology and the Dean of Student Affairs. The session was attended by faculty, staff, and students from the college.
During the session, representatives from INJAZ outlined the program's objectives, which include offering students the opportunity to enroll in direct online training under the supervision of specialized trainers. The program aims to qualify participants to obtain internationally recognized certifications from Microsoft or Amazon Web Services (AWS) in advanced technical fields such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analysis, and software development. Additionally, the program seeks to empower experienced IT professionals to become certified trainers, thereby strengthening national capabilities in technology and digital transformation.
The Career Accelerator Program is a national initiative for digital transformation and skills development, implemented by INJAZ under the Youth, Technology, and Jobs (YTJ) program of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. It relies on strategic partnerships with global technology companies to provide specialized training, expert mentorship, and networking opportunities with potential employers in the ICT sector.
The INJAZ team also met with faculty members to discuss registration mechanisms for becoming certified trainers within the program. Dr. Rami Sahwil, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, emphasized the college's strategy to strengthen partnerships with national and international institutions, align educational outcomes with labor market needs, and equip students with practical skills and professional certifications to enhance their employability in the digital era.
