Amman Arab University (AAU) and Jordan Gaming Lab Organize Advanced Training Workshop titled "TOT in Using Unity"
In line with Amman Arab University's pursuit to develop academic capabilities and enhance the technical competencies of faculty members, the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Excellence at the University, in cooperation with the Jordan Gaming Lab, organized a specialized training workshop titled "TOT in Using Unity". The workshop saw participation from a number of faculty members from the Faculty of Information Technology and the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Excellence.
The workshop aimed to prepare qualified trainers in the field of electronic game development using the Unity platform, which is one of the most important global platforms for designing 2D and 3D games and interactive applications. This training falls within the national efforts devoted to developing the skills of academic staff in modern digital technologies, virtual and augmented reality, and educational simulation.
The training program included intensive sessions focusing on the advanced technical aspects of using the Unity platform. It involved training participants in 3D modeling, programming movement and visual effects, working with APIs and the C# language, in addition to implementing practical applications in building professional digital game projects that simulate the real work environment in electronic game development. The training also covered the fundamentals of user experience (UX) design and elements of visual and audio production, contributing to the development of high-quality educational and entertainment digital content.
During the workshop, the participants confirmed that the program represented a qualitative addition to their expertise and tangibly contributed to expanding their technical knowledge and deepening their understanding of digital game development tools. They indicated that it opened new horizons for updating and developing academic curricula to align with labor market requirements and the trends of technology and digital innovation. This workshop is part of the efforts of the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Excellence at Amman Arab University aimed at empowering the academic staff to keep pace with the latest technological trends and fostering a university environment that stimulates creativity and excellence in the fields of technology and digital leadership.
