College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University implements Advanced Workshop on Microbiology

In a distinctive step towards enhancing applied education, College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, held a training workshop entitled “Practical Applications of Microbiology,” which aimed to enhance the practical and applied skills of students, where Dr. May Al-Hawamdeh and Dr. Sarah Nassir Al-Deen conducted a workshop, in training students of the College of Pharmacy on the basics of microbiology, diagnosis of basic and widespread bacterial diseases, and their treatments in the pharmacy.

It is noteworthy that the workshop witnessed active interaction by (30) male and female students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University, in addition to their participation in a competition at the end of the workshop to diagnose diseases and dispense appropriate medications, as the students showed great interest in understanding and applying the concepts of dealing with cases of widespread bacterial infections in pharmacies, which added a distinct value to the workshop, which reflects the college’s commitment to providing an advanced educational experience and a pioneering step to improve the quality of educational outcomes to build a distinguished student cadre armed with the knowledge, capabilities, skills, values, and practices that qualify them to practice various fields of the profession with efficiency and the ability to deal with the challenges of pharmaceutical work.
