The Faculty of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University (AAU) organizes a specialized workshop entitled: “Enhancing the Readiness of Aviation Sciences Students for the Labor Market – A Success Story”
As part of the Faculty of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University’s commitment to empowering its students with the skills necessary to succeed in the labor market, and under the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Wedian, President of the University, and with the support of Professor Dr. Malek Al-Salem Al-Anaqra, Dean of the Faculty of Aviation Sciences, the Faculty organized a training workshop entitled “Enhancing the Readiness of Aviation Sciences Students for the Labor Market – A Success Story.” The workshop was delivered by Engineer Yahya Rasheed, with the participation of a number of faculty students and individuals interested in developing their career paths in the aviation sector.
The workshop addressed a number of key themes related to labor market requirements in the field of aviation. Engineer Rasheed reviewed the most important professional and behavioral skills that contribute to achieving career success, emphasizing the importance of adhering to professional standards, working in a team spirit, and maintaining continuous learning while keeping pace with developments in this vital sector.
He also delivered a brief presentation on his professional experience and success story, highlighting the key milestones he encountered throughout his career, as well as the lessons learned that helped him achieve progress and excellence in his work. He stressed that diligence, perseverance, and proper planning are among the most important factors for success.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Engineer Rasheed provided a set of valuable guidelines to the students of the Faculty of Aviation Sciences, focusing on the importance of developing both personal and professional skills, mastering the English language, and pursuing specialized professional certifications in the field of aviation, due to their positive impact on enhancing future employment opportunities.
This workshop comes as part of the continuous efforts of the Faculty of Aviation Sciences at Amman Arab University to organize training activities aimed at linking the academic aspect with practical application, and preparing qualified students capable of competing and excelling in the labor market.
