A Memorandum of Cooperation between “Amman Arab University” and the Balqa Decentralized Governorate Council
Coping with its social responsibility and providing educational opportunities for local society, Amman Arab University, represented by its president, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, concluded a memorandum of cooperation with the Balqa Decentralized Governorate Council, which was represented by Professor Ibrahim Al-Awamleh, Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Nassar, Director of the Marketing Department, and Mr. Anas Kaso from the Media and Relations Department. General Assembly at Amman Arab University, Mr. Osama Al-Wreikat, member of the Balqa Governorate Council, and Engineer Yazan Obaid, Secretary of the Council.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in terms of accepting the people of Balqa Governorate to enroll in the programs offered by the university in its various colleges and exchanging experiences between the University and the council, in addition to examining ways of cooperation in the cultural and social fields from the standpoint of embodying social responsibility, enhancing youth participation, launching initiatives, and participating in conferences and events.
In this regard, Prof. Al-Widyan said that this memorandum is part of many memorandums that the university is associated with based on its societal responsibility and its desire to network locally to raise capabilities and provide young people with skills and knowledge that increase their competitiveness and raise their potential employment, which represents a strategic government goal by providing opportunities.
In turn, Al-Awamleh expressed his admiration for the level the University has reached and stressed that Amman Arab University is interested in providing opportunities for students and researchers to study and delve deeper into the fields of knowledge, and is working to expand community service by offering initiatives and is constantly working to improve the educational process through its programs and modern technologies used in Teaching process.
