President of "Amman Arab University" Visits the Development and Employment Fund
Amman - Based on the strategic vision of Amman Arab University in establishing partnerships and extending bridges of cooperation between the University and the various community institutions, the University President, Prof. Mohamad Al-Widyan, visited the Development and Employment Fund and met with the Director General, Mr. Anas Kaso from the Media and Public Relations Department.
During the meeting, many aspects and areas of cooperation between the University and the Fund were discussed, and the most important aspects that can be used and benefited from in many areas between the two parties in preparation for the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two parties. Prof. Al-Widyan presented the history and establishment of the University, the educational opportunities available to students and the unique majors that the University introduced, such as aircraft maintenance, avionics sciences, and cybersecurity, in addition to the administrative units that are unique to Amman Arab University, such as the office of social responsibility at the level of Jordanian universities, which works within a specific time plan and a qualitative strategy to expand the concept of social responsibility at the level of the local community, the Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which was created to create an environment of creativity, innovation and leadership in the university and the local community.
Al-Wreikat, in turn, pointed out the importance of the Fund's role as a government institution in employing young people, especially University graduates, by providing the necessary financing to establish their own projects. Al-Wreikat also indicated the importance of matching education outputs with the labor market.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Al-Widyan presented the University's shield to His Excellency Mr. Al-Wreikat, appreciating the important and vital role played by the Fund.
