College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at "Amman Arab University" Holds a Workshop for Counselors at the National Orthodox School
College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the Amman Arab University held a workshop at the National Orthodox School targeting educational and psychological counselors and special education specialists in the school, with 15 male and female counsellors, participated by students from the field training course in psychological and educational counseling.
A faculty member from the Department of Psychological and Educational Counseling in the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Prof. Suhaila Banat, reviewed the causes and effects of psychological stress, and strategies for dealing with stress. Dr. Banat also talked about behavior modification and practical application procedures for treating behavioral problems and behavioral problems in children.
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Banat honored Ms. Jacqueline Demarjian, the head of the Counseling Department and the Vice President of General Secondary Affairs at the National Orthodox School, and the rest of the male and female counsellors. The implementation of these workshops stems from AAU's belief in its social responsibility and networking with local community institutions.
