A strong interest from students of the Rosary Sisters' schools in the Bioinformatics major at Amman Arab University
Demonstrating its commitment to guiding young generations toward promising academic futures, Amman Arab University's Marketing Department—under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Nassar, Director of the Department—participated in school exhibitions organized by Uniranks in collaboration with the Rosary Sisters School in Marj Al-Hamam. The event served as a dynamic platform connecting grade-school students with university representatives to explore educational and training opportunities. Representing the university were Dr. Bilal Al-Shoumali, Head of the Bioinformatics Department at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, and Ms. Iman Ghnaim from the Marketing Department.
The university team provided comprehensive information about academic programs and diverse specializations, detailing the institution's vision, educational system, and graduate follow-up programs. Special emphasis was placed on emerging scientific disciplines, particularly bioinformatics, which has revolutionized genetic research, drug and vaccine development, and digital automation technologies powered by artificial intelligence in medical and scientific fields. Dr. Al-Shoumali delivered an in-depth presentation, highlighting that Amman Arab University pioneered this program as the first of its kind among Jordanian universities, both public and private. He underscored the program's potential to open vast local, regional, and global career opportunities for graduates, while also outlining the university's diverse scholarship offerings.
Ninth, tenth, and eleventh-grade students visited Amman Arab University's booth, where they had the chance to inquire about career-oriented specializations. Promotional materials and gifts were distributed, enhancing their engagement.
Future-oriented faculties at the university, including the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, attracted significant student interest—reflecting their alignment with modern workforce demands. Faculty members from the Rosary Sisters School also showed keen interest, inquiring about master's and higher diploma programs that could further their professional development.
Dr. Mohammad Nassar, Director of the Marketing Department, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in guiding students toward successful academic and professional paths: "At Amman Arab University, we believe students are future leaders, which is why we prioritize equipping them with the knowledge to make informed decisions."
Amman Arab University continues to strengthen its pioneering role in community service through educational initiatives, maintaining active collaboration with academic and community institutions to deliver top-tier guidance and services to students.
