Amman Arab University Students Achieve Distinction in Top 100 Ideas at 2024 Entrepreneurship Hackathon
Amman Arab University students excelled at the "2024 Entrepreneurship Hackathon, that" organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. The team, including Ahmad Rashid and Anas Abu Hantash, along with Christine Shamas, had their project (HEAR ME) selected among the top 100 ideas. This project addresses literacy and dropout challenges in the deaf community, competing against over 760 entries.
Selected projects will receive extensive support, including training in entrepreneurship. The hackathon aims to encourage youth innovation in sectors like agri-tech, education, renewable energy, and tourism. The university’s Center for Innovation congratulated the team and urged other students to engage in similar competitions.
