Amman Arab University Students Visit Mount Nebo
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student affairs at Amman Arab University, organized a cultural trip to Mount Nebo for students from the English and Mathematics departments. Supervised by faculty members, the trip aimed to introduce students to the historical and religious significance of this site, which overlooks the Dead Sea and Palestine, including the Dome of the Rock.
Students visited key landmarks, including the Memorial Story Museum, and the Mount Nebo Church, renowned for its stunning mosaics. They also met church officials who talked about the mountain’s history and gifted the university a book about Mount Nebo. The trip enriched students’ understanding of Jordan’s heritage, emphasizing the country’s role as a cultural and religious crossroads.
