Cybersecurity Graduate at “Amman Arab University” from Trainee to Distinguished Employee
The Information Technology Department at the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University organized a distinguished meeting with cybersecurity graduate Engineer Saadi Ashlaq, with the aim of informing the students of the Cybersecurity Department about the experiences of their fellow graduates in the labor market to benefit from them. The meeting was initiated by Dr. Manar Mazher, Head of the Information Technology Department welcoming the distinguished graduate of the department and the department’s students.
In this regard, Dr. Kamal Alyan, a faculty member at the College of Computer Sciences and Information, indicated that Engineer Ashlaq is considered one of the distinguished cybersecurity graduates, and that he currently works as a cybersecurity engineer at Seniors IT, through his outstanding performance in the company during the field training period during his studies in Amman Arab University.
Engineer Ashlaq presented his practical experience, pointing out how he developed his technical skills through self-employment during the study phase, and implementing and managing projects. He focused on the importance of students developing their technical skills by benefiting from applied course projects or graduation projects and field training, and stressed the great role of these projects in Developing cooperation skills with the team and commitment to delivering tasks on time, which enhances their abilities when conducting job interviews, and the students’ interaction during the meeting with Engineer Ashlaq, who answered all their inquiries, benefiting from his practical experience in the labor market.
For his part, Dr. Husam Al-Hamad, Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Informatics at Amman Arab University, stressed the importance of holding such meetings and lectures continuously, because of their role in expanding students’ awareness of the requirements of the labor market and how to raise their competencies through various projects for courses or self-employment.
This meeting is part of a series of activities organized by the Information Technology Department at the university, with the aim of enhancing communication between students and graduates and enriching their knowledge and experiences in a way that suits the requirements of the modern labor market.
