College of Pharmacy at “Amman Arab University" Implements the "Your Health Matters" Initiative in Mecca Mall
Amman - College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University implemented an initiative entitled "Your Health Matters to Us" in Mecca Mall.
The initiative, which was launched by the students of the College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University and supervised by the pharmacist, Ayah Al-Hourani, aimed at promoting health awareness and the concept of preventive culture among members of the local community, as well as developing communication skills for students with the local community and a sense of social responsibility, as the students measured blood pressure and sugar levels for visitors to Mecca Mall, providing important health and nutritional tips and advice for better health, and distributing educational brochures on chronic diseases.
On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University, Prof. Rana Abu Hweij, said that such initiatives contribute to leaving a positive impact on the life of society and raise awareness among community members of the importance of monitoring health periodically, especially the basic functions of the body, such as monitoring blood sugar, eyesight and blood pressure to avoid serious diseases.
Visitors to Makkah Mall showed great interest in the initiative and praised the blessed efforts made by pharmacy students at Amman Arab University to improve the health of community members.
