Organized by the Information and Communications Technology Association "Intaj," the session was attended by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Representing the university was Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. The event saw broad participation from educational institutions, private sector representatives, and relevant stakeholders.

Discussions—aligned with Intaj’s efforts to foster public-private-academic dialogue—centered on key themes, including the role of digital technologies in advancing educational processes, enhancing student capabilities, and empowering creative thinking and innovation within dynamic learning environments.

In his address, H.E. Dr. Mahafzah emphasized that accelerating digital innovation in Jordan’s education system is no longer optional but a national imperative driven by contemporary challenges and future needs. He highlighted the Ministry’s projects to develop digital infrastructure in schools and universities, equip educators and students with modern technical tools, and expand smart and sustainable learning opportunities. He stressed that investing in digital education is an investment in the nation’s future, affirming ongoing collaboration with all partners to achieve qualitative leaps in educational outcomes.

Dr. Ayasrah noted that the session strengthened synergy between education and the digital economy sectors, exploring ways to develop students’ digital skills and promote applied scientific research aligned with market needs. This aims to prepare a capable generation to lead the transition toward a knowledge-based economy.

Attended by Mr. Yousef Al-Khalid from the university’s Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, the session featured enriching discussions on aligning education with digital-

age demands. Participants exchanged insights on best practices for integrating technology into education, fostering effective academic-practical synergy, and developing adaptable education systems capable of accelerating digital innovation.
