Amman Arab University (AAU) Celebrates Student Creativity, Honors Winners of University Logo Design Competition

Demonstrating its commitment to fostering creativity and excellence among students, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, honored the winners of the university’s logo design competition. The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Ismail Yamin, Assistant President for Academic Affairs; several college deans; and competition committee members. Organized to provide students a platform to showcase artistic talents and solidify their university identity through active participation, the competition reflects the institution’s dedication to student development.

Dr. Al-Widyan emphasized the university’s focus on supporting students, enhancing their skills, and encouraging innovation through activities that develop their personalities and refine their talents. He affirmed that Amman Arab University continually cultivates an excellence-driven academic environment and recognizes student achievements across all fields, believing in their pivotal role in shaping the future. Dr. Al-Widyan urged students to actively engage in such initiatives, stressing that every attempt is a step toward success and an opportunity for self-discovery. "The university sees every student as a success project," he stated, "where participation itself is a victory that builds character and self-confidence."

Dr. Samer Ayasrah, Director of the Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, noted that the center consistently encourages student-led creative initiatives and provides an enabling environment to nurture young talents. He highlighted the logo competition as an effective model blending creativity with active student involvement, underscoring the center’s commitment to empowering students to transform ideas into tangible projects benefiting the university and society.

Certificates and awards were presented to the winners in an atmosphere of pride and accomplishment, reaffirming the university’s commitment to valuing student efforts and inspiring continued excellence. Winners included,Samira Ziyad Mohammed Al-Duwaik (Faculty of Engineering),Rama Mustafa Taha Al-Souri (Faculty of Arts and Sciences),Karam Amin Abdul Hameed Al-Zghoul (Faculty of Aviation Sciences)

Their innovative designs uniquely captured the university’s identity through creative expression.
