The College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University (AAU) Highlights the Success Story of Its Graduate, Masa Ghunaimat

As part of Amman Arab University's commitment to maintaining strong engagement with its graduates and aligning academic outcomes with labor market demands, the College of Information Technology organized an interactive session featuring alumna Masa Ghunaimat, who shared her professional journey and post-graduation success following her participation in the university’s “Leadership and Excellence” program.

During the session, Ghunaimat presented an overview of her academic journey since enrolling in the College of Information Technology. She highlighted the pivotal role of her graduation project in developing her practical competencies and shaping her professional identity. She explained that the project represented a turning point in her career, enabling her to translate theoretical knowledge into practical application.

She further noted that the graduation project strengthened her analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, teamwork, research skills, and technical communication proficiency. Ghunaimat emphasized that the project was not merely an academic requirement, but rather a comprehensive experiential learning opportunity that significantly enhanced her job market readiness, strengthened her self-confidence, and equipped her to address technical challenges with efficiency and professionalism.

In her closing remarks, she delivered motivational messages to current students, urging them to approach their graduation projects with seriousness and strategic vision, considering them a cornerstone of their future professional paths. She affirmed that graduates of the College of Information Technology at Amman Arab University possess a solid academic foundation and practical expertise that enable them to compete and excel in the dynamic technology sector.

For his part, Dr. Rami Sihwail Dean of the College of Information Technology underscored the importance of organizing such interactive engagements between students and alumni. He stated that these initiatives play a critical role in inspiring students, strengthening their academic and professional motivation, and exposing them to authentic success stories rooted in a similar academic environment.

Dr. Sihwail added that these meetings enhance students’ awareness of applied education, clarify labor market expectations, and guide them toward maximizing the value of their academic projects—particularly graduation projects—thereby supporting the development of sustainable and competitive career trajectories aligned with the rapid evolution of the information technology sector.
