"Amman Arab University" Facilitates two (8) International Innovative Projects at the National Level Supported by the British Royal Academy of Engineering

Fund to Support Scientific Research and Development in Industry of the Supreme Council for Science and Technology, in cooperation with the British Royal Academy of Engineering, announced the names of the winners participating in the “Leaders in Global Innovation Fellowships for the Year 2024” program, which it is implementing for the fourth year in a row, within an official event sponsored by the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Science and Technology, Professor .Mashhour Al-Rifai, in the presence of a number of presidents of Jordanian universities, in addition to representatives of participating institutions.

During the ceremony announcing the results, which was chaired by Professor. Mashhour Al-Rifai and in the presence of the University President, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, Amman Arab University received two projects out of (8) projects that allow it to have a training program that allows it to move between a number of countries and gives it the opportunity to transform ideas, opinions and projects into a real life reality. The first project was for a faculty member in the College of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University, Dr. Sarah Nasser Al-Din, and the second project was for engineer Raed Mayas, who is pursuing his doctoral studies in Spain, with the participation of the President of Amman Arab University, Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, as a co-supervisor on his doctoral thesis.

A statement to the Council explained that there is a training program for the eight winners that allows them to move among a number of countries to transform their ideas, visions and projects into a tangible, applicable reality and market them properly, which reflects the Fund’s objectives in building research and creativity capabilities in Jordan and enhances technological leadership among its citizens.
