A Special Career Day at Kareem Hypermarket for Alumni and Students of Amman Arab University

Amman - The Deanship of Student Affairs / Office of Career Guidance and Graduate Follow-up at Amman Arab University, in cooperation with Sawaed Training Academy and Kareem Hypermarket, organized a special career day at Kareem Hypermarket for alumni and students of Amman Arab University, which was sponsored by Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University. As a representative of the president, Dr. Ismail Yamin, Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, opened the Career Day at Amman Arab University.

At the beginning of the day, Professor. Khaled Bani Hamdan, Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed the representative of the University President, Professor. Ismail Yamin, and the University’s guests from Sawaed Training Academy, Kareem Hypermarket, the students, and all those attending the career day, stressing that Amman Arab University seeks to hold career days to help the University’s students and alumni find distinctive opportunities through companies and local community institutions in light of the challenges encountering University alumni in obtaining jobs suitable for their specializations.

Prof. Bani Hamdan added that the Deanship of Student Affairs is exerting an effort to achieve the University’s vision and the objectives of the Deanship of Student Affairs by providing job and employment opportunities for its students and members of the local community, based on its responsibility to contribute to development processes, indicating that this Career Day for Kareem Hypermarket included many topics that were addressed, through representatives of the Sawaeed Training Academy and Kareem Hypermarket, by providing training for young people of different age groups and qualifications who want to work, training young people within the OJT workplace, and opening up space for young people who have manual and craft professions to exploit small spaces in Kareem Hypermarket branches.

In turn, representatives of Kareem Hypermarket added that there are 50 job vacancies for students who have a desire to work, and stated that Kareem Hypermarket welcomes students who want to train in all departments of the company. At the end of the career day, which was moderated by Dr. Alaa Al-Bawat, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Professor. Ismail Yamin honored the management of Sawaed Training Academy and Kareem Hypermarket.
