Amman Arab University achieves advanced Ranks according to Webometrics Classification


 Within its tireless endeavors to achieve its strategic objectives and aspirations to raise the level of quality in all its aspects; Amman Arab University has advanced in the Webometrics classification through the University's website by (4) ranks within Jordanian universities, (42) ranks at the level of Arab universities, and (1700) ranks worldwide.


 President of Amman Arab University, Prof. Muhamad Al-Widyan, indicated that the University's achievement of this ranking in the Webometrics classification is the result of the efforts of all the University's employees, specifically those in charge of the Information Technology and Communication Center at the University.  He pointed out that the University has developed an ambitious plan through which it seeks to advance in all international classifications and put the University within an advanced ranking locally, regionally, and internationally in all aspects.


 It is worth mentioning that the Webometrics classification is an internationally accredited classification of universities worldwide, organized by a center affiliated with the largest public research body in Spain. The classification includes three levels at the world level, the regional level, and the country level. The classification began in 2004 and ranked (16000) University, and the classification aims to adopt a classification of academic bodies in the world and to reflect the scientific activities of academic bodies to demonstrate their distinguished scientific level, in addition to adding the aspect of competition among academic institutions, and finally improving scientific competencies in all academic sectors
